How I got started

I suffered from alopecia, and after covid came around, my hairloss got worse. I found it very difficult to find wigs in the color I wanted, and the size that would fit, so I started altering wigs.

A family member was also suffering from alopecia, so I decided to learn how to make a wig for her so that would cost less. She was gifted some human hair, and I started studying how to make wigs while I waited for the wig making supplies to come in the mail.

I am completely self taught. I have learned from books and youtube. Once I made my first wig, I decided it was actually a very enjoyable hobby. And so the journey began.

After a year and a half of making wigs for friends and family, I decided to open my own wig shop!
